Inbound Telephone Services – Service Terms
These terms apply to our inbound telephone services, and form part of our customer contract with you. They must be read in conjunction with our core terms at au.pacnet.com/terms-and-conditions/.
2.1. Where we agree to provide inbound services to you, we may require you to provide us with rule sets.
2.2. If you do not provide us with rule sets when requested, the inbound services may:
2.2.1. not function properly; or
2.2.2. not be enabled.
3. Call charges
When you use an inbound service you will be charged, with respect to:
3.1. 1300 numbers:
3.1.1. for the total call cost of the call incurred by the call maker, except for the local call rate after 60 minutes (after which time you are responsible for the call costs), which the call maker will be responsible for;
3.1.2. for the cost of any inbound service; and
3.1.3. any other fees or charges which are contained in our Price List.
3.2. 1800 numbers:
3.2.1. for the total call cost of the call incurred by the call maker;
3.2.2. for the cost of any inbound service; and
3.2.3. any other fees or charges which are contained in our Price List.
3.3. 1800 numbers:
3.3.1. for the total call cost of the call incurred by the call maker, except for the local call rate after 60 minutes (after which time you are responsible for the call costs), which the call maker will be responsible for;
3.3.2. for the cost of any inbound service; and
3.3.3. any other fees or charges which are contained in our Price List.
3.4. timed calls, in 6 second increments, or any other increments that we may nominate from time to time.
4.1. Where we agree to obtain a telephone number or transfer an inbound service from another telecommunication provider, on your behalf, you appoint us as your agent (with full authority) to do all things that we deem reasonably necessary:
4.1.1. to obtain the telephone number; and
4.1.2. to transfer a service from another telecommunications provider.
4.2. You release us from any liability arising out of any act or omission related to the agency in this clause 4.
4.3. You indemnify us against any claim, loss or damage arising under this clause 4.
You acknowledge that:
5.1. there may be time delays in applying rule sets, and that you must give us at least 14 days notice of any changes you wish to make to rule sets;
5.2. as we are not responsible for allocating telephone numbers we cannot ensure that a specific number you request may be obtained;
5.3. we will not bid at auction or otherwise acquire any ‘Smart Number’ for you, it is solely your responsibility to obtain Smart Numbers;
5.4. additional fees and charges may apply to specific telephone numbers, but if there is, we will notify you;
5.5. you are responsible for all call costs, for calls made by all call makers, even if they are malicious, or are designed to misuse the inbound services;
5.6. we may only provide you with the first 4 or 5 digits of a call maker’s telephone number, and that you have no right to request the complete phone number of a call maker;
